About the Journal

ASPIRATOR - Journal of Vector-Borne Diseases Studies is a free open journal published by the Health Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Aspirator has been published since 2009 and focuses on the dissemination of research results, objectives, analysis, and reviews related to vector-borne diseases. Aspirator is published twice a year, with 14 articles published annually in June and December.
Since September 2022, the management of the Aspirator Journal has been handed over to the Indonesian Medical Entomology Association (PEKI), which is a professional organization for Health Entomologists in Indonesia.

ASPIRATOR has been accredited by the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Ristekdikti) number: 200/M/KPT/2020, 23 December 2020 with a Sinta 2 (S2) score, valid until Volume 16, Number 2, 2024 Journal accreditation from The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education can be seen on the Sinta website.
